Srie explained that sulfactan are chemical constituents that have a high level of irritation.
"If the skin feels rough, it does not mean clean. However this means that some of the fat in the skin surface has been lifted," said Srie.
Fat on the surface of the skin serves as a protection which helps prevent skin disorders such as irritation, inflammation, and allergy.
"Therefore, to avoid soaps that contain sulfactan skin, in order to maintain skin health," advises Srie.
